Nina Plášková and Keanu Sapadi are artists of the Berlin-based Gloomy movement. Their exhibition series The Darkness Is Coming explores diverse manifestations of darkness within Berlin’s contemporary art scene.

Gloomy presents artists whose practices engage with the dark through multimedia approaches and conceptual rigor.

The Darkness Is Coming examines the aesthetic tension inherent in sombre artistic expressions, bringing latent interests and underlying structures to the surface. It introduces works and artistic positions that unfold in an autonomous and self-determined manner.
